. THE TILES
The Jaggery Tiles are bespoke, terracotta and hand-painted with natural pigments. An endless range of patterns and colours can be designed for kitchens and bathrooms, walls, floors or murals.
"Living for 25 years in Spain and being in close proximity to Portugal and Morocco my appetite for seeking beautiful tiles was abundant. Combining my passion for colours and patterns it didn’t take me long to start creating my own designs for tiles. . ABOUT
For as long as I can remember, I have had an intimacy with colour, shape and pattern. As a youngster, I began sketching and painting alongside my father, but it was in the South of Spain that the opportunity arose to paint en plein air, using a wide range of mediums. There, I was free to explore my creative flare. Travelling to Morocco frequently and visits to India with my family exposed me to more varieties of colour and design. It became clear that I wanted to create a home full of wonderful artefacts, tiles and paintings inspired by the places we visited. It was then that I began to hand-paint terracotta tiles.
I'm based between Portugal and the UK.
